Why padsify?
That’s a good questions, and the answer is really quite simple. Padsify wants to be a part of leveling the playing field for women. The taboos and outdated opinion about periods is tiring and downright stupid, now is the time for some (preferably all) of women’s needs to take place.
We want period products to be available everywhere and for everyone. You should not have to feel stress or shame about your period and that’s why period products should be easily accessible for all. You should not have to be ashamed and hide the tampon in the pocket of your jeans, or worry that you don’t have any protection if your period comes unexpectedly. Period products is for everyone and should be available everywhere, but that’s not the case. This is something we want to change and we hope you want to join.

The lack of access for period products exists worldwide and has a significant effect on equality with economic, social and health effects for women and girls. The lack of period products stands in the way of opportunities for millions of women and girls around the world. About half of the schools in low-income countries lack adequate drinking water, sanitation and hygiene crucial for girls and female teachers to manage their period. Inadequate facilities can affect girls’ experience at school, causing them to miss school during their period.
In Nepal, around 30% of girls are said to stay at home during their period, which is also related to many schools’ lack of private toilets with clean water. The effect of them staying at home is that they miss part of their education, which in turn can lead to them missing opportunities and alternatives for their future, something we do not want periods to stand in the way of.
We have therefore chosen to collaborate with XXX and contribute with padsify’s dispensers on toilets in chosen schools in Nepal so that girls always have period products available when needed. We will also give 10% of each dispenser placed to XXX, so that they can improve and build new toilets in the schools.
To achieve real equality, we must increase the access of period products. Everyone who needs it must also have access to it.

About us
Padsify started with the idea to change the taboo way of thinking about periods, and in what other way to do that than to let it take place? Our goal is that access to period products will become a matter of course everywhere – in schools, offices, hotels, you name it. On an average a women menstruates for about 7 years during their lifetime, so why shouldn’t it be? With this in mind we developed a dispenser that contains period products, both tampons and pads. The dispenser is designed to fit bathrooms as well as the reception and is purchased by companies, among others, so that they can offer free and easily accessible period products at their workplace.
